Till I heard this album, I have never been a fan of rap music. Never. But when my friend, whoโ€™s really into Fort Minor, told me to check this album out, I couldnโ€™t help my curiosity. And now this is all I listen to. Great album, great songs, definitely worth tume and and listening to every single song I could find of Fort Minorโ€™s.

I have to be honest, so far I have only listened to remember the name (sorry) but itโ€™s absolutely fire. I have listened to it so much I could sing even without background music ๐Ÿค™โœŒ๏ธ

This album is pure genious. It has stood the test of time. It's been 12 years and I still listen to it regularly. If I had to pick any one album to have for the rest of my life. This would be it.
  • The essence of Mike Shinoda!

If you love Mike's work in Linkin Park, this album is 100% just that. Through the years this album's content and sound have remained current. There's a mix of fast placed and slow songs. This will give you an intimate look into Mike's life and will remind you of how amazing his work is.
  • Amazing...*Really*

When Fort Minor originally came out I was super excited as I was disappointed with Linkin Park's drift from it's original melodies, thinking here we go Shinoda's going to brink it back to the grittier roots. Then I heard the hit Where'd You Go and was deflated. More of the same pop "radio music". Now some 12-13 years later, thanks to Youtube suggestions I came across Remember the Name, thought this is great, found the rest of the album and was blown away. Literally. Every. Song. Is. Great. I bought it within 24 hours, and I'm really selective on what I buy. This is rap with a story and creative beats (even if sometimes a tad repetitive), rather than made up words and lathered-on-thick urban speak just to make things rhyme and fulfill some fake "authenticity" that's really just a factory-made image that sells. And Shinoda actually wrote the music and lyrics? Guy deserves every penny for the album. GIVE ME MOAR FORT MINOR.
