Its been over 6 months since i had one of their songs in my playlist and wow....these guys are phenomenal. They are truly fans of the 70-80's funk days. I've become a new fan of this band, will continue to keep an eye on them in the future. 5 star.

This is one of the best albums I've ever heard since Daft punk's random access memories. Mayer Hawthorne is a genius musician. Combining his skill with Jake One's musical prowess is an amazing combination. The album seems like a feel-good tribute to funk, pop, dance, hip hop, with a touch of the Quincy Jones. This album is the cure for depression.

I discovered Mayer Hawthorne on iTunes Radio last year in an Aloe Blacc station and instantly vibed w/ his music. I've been following his work ever since and this funkier side of him is refreshing. He never gets old!! Jake also did a great job w/ the production on this album.

I can't believe I only heard about this album today! What a treasure! I highly recommend this album to all Disco, Funk, Boogie lovers. You won't be disappointed. 5 Star rating is just a modest score. Thanks for bringing the feel good vibes of 60s, 70s and 80s back. I can just close my eyes and feel I am listening to Gap Band, Midnight Star, Aurra; or productions from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Kashif and Paul Laurence, or Leon Sylvers III.

So I was shopping and this artist was playing...I had to ask Siri to ID the song which turned out to be 'Do It'. I'll be adding it and the whole album to my rotation for sure! #happycustomer
