I am big fan of Ms Stumm and this album is so great. She is fearless viola player.

As a great fan of the work, this is the most complete, deep and expressive interpretation I have come across. Stumm plays with a sound that cuts straight to the heart. She has fully embodied the character in a way no one has before her. The interpolation of Liszt songs between the movements I was skeptical of, but it really works. Beautiful music, stunning performance.
