  • Not Thievery Corporation - More like Sounds from the Ground

Not even in the same genre, how can you compare the two? This is closer to Sounds from the Ground but not quite as good. Budapest Eskimos is a brilliant song. Check the album out if you are into downtempo, electronic, chillout, ambient, music.

if Sasha and Digweed made another "northern exposure" album these guys would definitly be on it. and I mean that in the most positive way imaginable

This is the best albumn I've ever heard. Period. Nothing compares to it. There are no immitations for perfection. If you can picture yourself in a posh lounge with your best friends just enjoying some music and having some drinks, you'll dig this.

As an avid listener to electronic music, Lushlife Project have been making my ears feel good ever since I heard the eerie "Wurlizer" on Pandora radio. I've been hooked ever since. This is precisely the kind of electronic music i've been looking for. My friends don't seem to like this band, but maybe thats because they don't generally listen to electronic music. Despite having a "downtempo" impression, this music can actually be rather good for dancing and clubbing. Lushlife is similar to Thievery Corporation, but much better in my opinion. I've downloaded a couple of their tracks off their website -- which appears to be down at the time of this writing. The tracks there are equally great.
