Based on when this came out, this album was bangin'. Stezo new how to ride the track with his lyrics. "Crazy Noise" was my jam. I played this tape non-stop.

This a must have- a total album. They dont make records like this anymore....All the HS kids today need to get on board with sleeping bag records....

This album is really a lot of fun to blast- Stezo is not the greatest lyricist of all time, but his tracks are really entertaining with rhymes that are often pretty hillarious. This album was released right at the end of the 80's, the era of fast paced dance tracks and high top fade haircuts...The production is pretty tight, there are a lot of dope samples throughout, although some are now very recognizable to even the most casual hip hop fans (samples like "Atomic Dog", or Average White Band's "Pick Up The Pieces" are heard) but most of these tracks still sound really fresh, "To The Max" being the best track in my opinion....Stezo's hillarious rhymes are classic, though ("Strap yourselves in, cause Im about to blast off- Ugly girls, please take the mask off" or "So, just remember the thought that Im thinking, Yo chris, what's this beat? (Yo, this beat is stinkin!)" W O R D

With this and the two Just-Ice releases this month, Warlock thankfully brings the mostly out-of-print Sleeping Bag catalogue to iTunes. Stezo was a dancer for EPMD soon became their labelmate. Absolutely worth the money as one of the most solid albums from an indie hip-hop footnote, "It's My Turn" introduced the world to the "Skull Snaps" breakbeat.
