Not only is this Orlean's best song but one of the best songs of the 70's. The lead vocalist has passed on, I believe, but the legacy of what he brought to these classic songs never will.

I've been looking on iTunes for the studio version of Love Takes Time for sometime & was surprised when I stumbled across this "Authorized" Album.
Not knowing what to expect I sampled this & felt it sounded very much like the single I heard on the radio & not the Re-recorded" versions on this site.
I noticed the Album came out in May 2014 so I went ahead & downloaded it as there are certain cues in the song I remembered & sure enough they were there & I couldn't be happier to now have this in my music collection. Way to go Apple in finally making this available!
