The electro-pop tunes on Walk Through Walls is, no doubt, confrontational. But it’s also clarifying and cathartic. Herzig juxtaposes sweeping synths over lilting melodies for immensely evocative pieces. These studies in contrast get her point across on a primal, cellular level. This is a full-contact listen, a bold, tactile adventure that warrants active participation from the listener. Do it!
