This song tackles real issues between "religion" and having a real relationship with God, I really love the depiction of both sides and how many people view Christianity, this song was thought provoking, creative, and powerful. Over the course of my life, I grew up in the church. My grandfather is the pastor and my uncle is a minister and so on. So from that I titled myself as a "Christian" and prayed to God and sang gospel songs because that's what Christians are supposed to do. Now I realize that that's not knowing God and having a relationship with him and as I strive to get that this song speaks loud and clear. That God has a purpose and a way for my life and it is my duty to serve him and not get tangled in worldly things. I thank God for giving you these words to speak to me.
