All of the members of the dB's have been very busy since the '80s - and this is the original lineup. Yes, it's a cover - and it's for a good cause, too - keep in mind Peter lost so much to hurricane Katrina...
I AGREE

Great to hear Peter H. and the gang back at it (and for an obviously good cause at that). But I'll chime in with the chorus here for some *serious* dB's back-catalog action here...my intro to the band was fairly late, with "The Sound of Music", which *I* think should become an iTunes Plus release, but let's not forget the rest of their output. How about it?
Agreed! More dBs!

Amplifier is one of my all time favorites. Get that and more of their others on here!
What Becomes of the Brokenhearted by the dB's

Personally knowing a good many of the original dB's....it is my belief that this is a different band and not the original guys and gurls. They haven't performed anything together in decades.
Holsapple and Stamey did do Mavericks back in the early 1990's and that is all I have ever heard from any former dB's.
What I find interesting is that there are NO names of performers credited to this work.
Your mileage may vary.
Where is the old stuff?

I totally agree with the other guy - we need "Stands for Decibels" and "The Sound of Music." Will the real Peter Holsapple please stand up!!
What becomes of the backlist???

Please for the love of god, make the early DB's stuff available, like 'Ask for Jill' and "Go Back to Your Mother" or whatever those songs were called. It was SO GOOD. Thank you
