Ingrid is paired with an incredible group of "highly seasoned" keyboardists, guitar player and technicians that make this sound simply come alive! Some Gorgeous tracks on this Gem! What a treat! - Patthoven

This band has a great balance of female and male energy. Sigur Ros meets Cocteau Twins. I play this music in Jivamukti Yoga classes and the ripe emotions and irrational poetry combined with very steady, Phillip Glass-esque instrumentation which is hypnotic, primal and accessible to a range of listeners. As people step back and forth and hold painful and pleasurable yoga stretches and measure their breath and choreography, they weep and laugh and mostly feel stirred by the inner soul expression which these young musicians are committed to live by. Sometimes I click over some of the songs because the Highasakite sound is very versatile and I don't always want to hear so many different styles. A treasure of contemporary music.

I saw them perform when they opened for Of Monsters and Men last night in the Twin Cities. I have to say I enjoyed them more than the actual venue. They’re just better live than Of Monsters and Men. I absolutely was blown away by their music.!

They were the very best band I heard at SXSW. They got the only standing ovation of the entire day that I happened to witness! The most beautiful music I have heard in years!!!!

Really unusual album, weird in a great way. Strong, beautiful voice, lots of instruments. I've been playing it nonstop, it's one of those obsessive albums. So glad I came across it.

I saw them tonight playing with London Grammar and I was blown away by there sound. The singer has such a strong clear voice. The guitar player reminded me of Tom Green. Beautiful music.
