This album had me rocking out from beginning to end! With incredible vocal blends, high-energy instrumental tracks and some hard core awesome beats, this freshman album is sure to send new-comers LUX all the way to the top of the punk/alternative scene! Don't be the last one to hear these sweet licks! Truly a testament to the amazing talent of the members of this band.
Interesting alternative/punk/pop/hard/progressive...well, I know it's rock, at least

A very different sound than any other band I've heard. It gets a bit too punkish in places, in my opinion, with the shouting chorus lines in a couple of the tracks, but it's very good instrumentation and the vocals are passable, at least. Needs polish and some work, but what beginning band doesn't? Keep it up, guys.
Oh, and is it just me, or is that guitar intro on "Believe" very much derived from a synth section on Rush's 1981 hard rock classic, "Tom Sawyer"? ;)
Awesome

This album gives the listener a glimpse of what's to come from this new band. Full of originality and tight vocals, this album will not be a disappointment to anyone that hears it. The Pacific Northwest has always produced brilliant artists and this new band carries on the legacy. Catch them live if you can; LUX knows how to put on a good show.
Simply WoW

This is a great peice of well crafted music. Rarely have I heard music with such soul and heart put into it. Every track on this album is golden, they all have so much power to them. The album can be heard from begining to end without you even thinking about skipping forward. However, pop this album is not. This album is rock, through and through. Seeing Is Believing is most definatly worth the the money.
Impressive first effort

LUX is a new band that has a surprisingly fresh sound. Their sound is hard to pinpoint, however, as it rambles from hard rock all the way to country-tinged ballads. It's an ecclectic mix of styles and sounds, and one that should prove very popular.
Track #3, "You Did It", is perhaps the best song on this album. It is a heartfelt ballad with a distinctly country-flavored sound. It wouldn't sound out of place on a Tim McGraw album, for example. LUX delivers it well, and it may well emerge as the band's signature song from this album.
"Criminal" is another good song, full of high-energy guitars and...gasp!...a real guitar solo! Good work, guys.
Outstanding work of art
