I was so blessed by the selections I've bought from this CD. Even though it's cheaper to get the CD here I think I may get it off of CD baby because more of the proceeds go to the artist...or at least that's what I've heard from a (supposedly) reliable source *cough*internet*cough* Anyway on to the review: Every preview and full song I've heard/bought from this album have left me wanting to hear more from him. His has and AWESOME voice. Some say that vocally he sounds like Fred Hammond. I hear it, but if you listen to Fred then listen to this Salah you can tell their singing styles even their tone is different. This is the best gospel R&B album to come along via an indie artist in a while. Every song will minister to you in some type of way. Two of my many favorite tracks is "Lord Prepare Me" and "You Saved Me". If you're looking for new music from a gospel R&B artist, a CD you won't have to skip through, and messages you'll be blessed by you've come to the right place. Salah's "Jesus 101" is EXACTLY what you're looking for. Great album. Great gospel lyrics with some serious beats. Man can really sing in person as well.

This is one of the best albums I have heard. Great voice and really inspirational.

This has to be one of the freshest sounds out there. Salah has a voice that is as smooth as it is soulful. A truly unique sound.
