It’s disheartening to see the gravitation to one song when every song on this album is so wonderful.
It flows, same feel, nothing rushed, nothing seems inserted at the last minute.
Seconds is one of most moving songs of the 1st half of the decade.
There’s a reason this album was so prominent for a couple of years, it’s a classic 80’s album.
As far as 1982 goes, with the first swell of New Wave it’s a masterpiece.
