    Jackie Gleason is first, and foremost recognized as a comedic-actor. But Gleason, also dabbled in music. He collaborated with a number of great muscians, and arrangers to create the "mood" he wanted to set. One of these artists was the great trumpeter: Bobby Hackett. Many of the selections have been remastered on this particular download, and its greatly appreciated. This could best-be described as: Easy Listening. The type played on nascent FM radio stations in the early-60's, when it was a new radio-format. This is smooth, and relaxing 'ear-candy', and compares with other artists like: Percy Faith, The Hollyridge Strings, Herbert Rehbein, Bert Kaempfert, Henry Mancini, Peter Nero, and Ronnie Aldrich. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a bygone era. Cheers!
