I bought this album when it came out. David seems to seek to connect to roots of Christianity, like Phos Hilaron-one of two oldest notated Christian songs/hymns. UNIQUE. Bordering innovative. As my protestant non-denom denominational journey and adherence led me to Eastern Orthodox Christianity, this album remains in my repertoire.
