Perfect album. The beats are spot on, the rhythms are authentic. There is no reason to delay with this purchase. Timeless album. My hat's off to the artist.
Genre bender from 2007

While browsing for K-os' 2015 album I saw how underrepresented 2007's Atlantis: Hymns for the Disco is on iTunes. A Canadian artist, hip hop first, but with experimental pop leanings and plenty of raga thrown in for flavor. It's like listening to a reborn version of Prince in modern day Canada (no it's not Drake) instead of the twin cities. There are hooks, guitars, samples, raps and full on crooning. Not rock, not hip hop, not pop - He flips styles as creatively as Cudi's MoM1. This album had the potential for that level of crossover success but which was ultimately only found in his native land where he is a gold and platinum selling artist.
Legendary.
