Not really a fan. His jokes are basic and easy. Not really originally or smart. Oooo let's joke about buying a home... Blah blah
Wow

Years ago I heard this set from another source and when I got this from iTunes and listened, I realized there was material missing. If you're thinking the same thing, get "222 Live & Uncut" instead. That's where the rest of this is. Also, the geniuses at iTunes managed to screw up the last few tracks on this album.
Laughed maybe once

I usually like Patton Oswalt which is why I bought this album without previewing it. That was a mistake. There are a few funny spots on this album, but with 28 tracks you'd think there would be more. I saw part of this special on Comedy Central and it seemed funnier there, maybe because of the editing... oh well, save your money and if you must hear it, wait til it comes back on TV.
Not bad, but please read on...

My three star rating is NOT because I was unhappy with this album - Oswalt's GREAT. The audience was a bit rowdy and raw, but who needs a canned laugh track, anyway? What I want others to know is that you should ONLY get this album if you feel "okay" with Oswalt in short doses. If you really LIKE him, if you're a huge fan, DON'T get this album. Get "222 - Live & Uncut". "Feelin' Kind of Patton" is taken directly from this material. With 222, you get more funny, for less money. (If you're an omega huge fan, get both...there's a 5% difference in how the jokes are told, plus a really funny riff on a heckler, in "Feelin'".)
5 stars to Patton. 3.5 stars to iTunes..

GREAT comic. GREAT album. HOWEVER, iTunes messed up the track listings for tracks 24-28.. Track 24 is only "Stella D'Oro," where track 25 is "Robert Evans/The Sadness Ends." "P**s Drinkers" and "Tom Carvel" are actually tracks 26 and 27 respectively, and traack 28 is "The Magic of Oil Painting/Easter Eggs." See, at track 25, they screwed it all up till the very end, and it became very confusing to listen to... However like I said... GREAT comic, and GREAT album.. Just had to do some personal track title editing...
Really Funny

I personally think his other cd Wearwolves and lollipops was better but this was very good. Also the last few tracks' names were incorect. However this is still a Great CD

I Thought I Liked Him Til I Bought This CD

Well...I bought the CD because I thought I had heard enough of Patton Oswalt's material to form the opinion that I liked him but honestly, I only liked about 5% of each routine. And there were a lot of them. It just sounds like some guy who's trying to sound smarmy/sarcastic and identifiable with. It wasnt just that the anti-Bush & self hating American comments made me cringe, I have a daily quota for how much of that I can handle & it was exceeded about 20 hip, young Democrat comedians ago but the jokes were just too forced out like a boyfriend I had in high school who used to rehearse funny comments & then recite them like it was natural.
OH BUT YOU LIKE DA HAWSEES! YOU LIKE DA HAWSEE SHOWS!
