I just picked up a copy after reading the reviews even though many point out that it doesn't include this track or that track. But after reading through the very detailed liner notes and listening to each of the tracks carefully, I found out why the title: The Absolute Collection. It is not so much about hit songs (even though many included were commercial hits), but about those special tracks that Celia recorded that made her so influential and that took her to another level as with the case of "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" (a reggaton track). Any and all fans of Celia, young and old should have a copy of this - I highly recommend it! ....Azucaaaaa!!!!!

Wonderful songs! Classics! I with "Te Busco", "Vieja Luna" or another bolero type song was added. Yes a earlier number but still a classic.

Where is Azucar Negra ? Great songs, including La Guarachera, but how can an absolute collection exclude Azucar Negra ???

Where is "Vida es Un Carnaval?" That songs helped bring Celia to the younger generation! Not very "Absolute."
