Not sure how to categorize this. It's a combination of deep house and trip hop. It's AMAZING! i bought it and listened 3 times in a row straight through. "Blame" is a high point, but the entire album is just incredible. You also need to purchase the "Not Listening" EP. One repeat song from the new album, but the rest is different. Buy, buy, buy…you can thank me later. btw…the remixes of "Everything" are also incredible. One of them (Last Magpie remix) sounds like Burial.

So glad I stumbled upon this, so beautiful, dark, dreamy, poetic, artistic. Love every song. A great companion to the brilliant new David Lynch music release, also. Love it.

Saw maya play at wavefront beach fest in chicago...she destroyed it with rumbling groovy chunky bass...i wanted to hear more...saw this album...bought it...became my beginning of the day music for the next 2 days...sexy...deep...moody...ugh...a week later and still cant get over it...so good...and i dont write reviews...

Have been awaiting this release for some time now and MJC did not disappoint. A great set of lush, driven beats with expectedly crafted and delivered vocals.

One of the newest beauties of the underground. Young & talented, Maya Jane Coles, is everything amazing. Appeal is probably not mainstream edm America, but more towards crowds with discerning tastes - educated dance music snobs who know what they want and who have long graduated from the aggressive in-your-face stimulation of top 10 edm. Saw her yesterday at Verboten’s 4th of July gig in New York and was blown away. Her album comfort is deep, dark, and calm - and is worth more than $7.99 for such beautiful music. More of this!

my first discovery of Maya Jane. If they played this at the clubs I'd go out a LOT more. What a great combination of ethereal yet driven energy. SEXY and provokes my urge to get out and dance! Need I say- I love it!
