This is a great example of true talent. Honest, no frills recording. No overdubs and digital editing. Just amazing artists showing us how it's done. Take Five and Left my Heart in San Fransisco, are perhaps the best versions available.
What a great treasure.

Tony sounds crystal clear and Dave and his group "put out" super vibes with their great music. A great addition to one's musical collection.

Wowsers!=Kudos to whomever unearthed this Live Set from these two classic & iconic Jazzsters!-Honestly; Been a huge fan of Vocal & Instrumental Jazz since my Grandparent's apartment in The Bronx @ 1951!-(My Mother was an original "Bobby-Soxer" & Swooned over Sinatra!)-Just as Carole King receives her White House award tonight; Give another listen to Bru & Bennett just merging melodies & swinging the standards! Man; That night must have been a real Gas; Brother!…by Grimmbo.

This historic White House recording has surprisingly wonderful fidelity, an auditory celebration of the late Brubeck at his heights and the now legendary Bennett ascending. Both deliver performance greats. A must have for fans of both!

This mini concert is not long, but Tony Bennett's version of "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" is the best I've heard, and much better than the single version. Terrific. Moving, too.
