The rhythm section has a chemistry that is rare on the scene today and Champian has a distinctive point of view on the piano in today's Jazz scene. Her voice is without pretense but loaded with style. As a bandleader, she has a clear vision of her musical presentation. This recording will leave you knowing that Jazz is alive and well.
