Bought this to reminess when I saw them as the backup band for Aerosmith at Alpine Valley in 78. They were billed as a TBA band so nobody knew what was coming. They came out with a high energy show and completely blew Aerosmith away. This album was so much like the live show it unbelievable. Track for track on that evening. Excelent

The very first album I ever owned. By far the best live album in my opinion. Angus one of the best guitarist ever and Bon Scott at his best.

The minute Angus Young starts his slow burn intro to Riff Raff and the crowd goes ballistic, you know you're in for an amazing experience. This was recorded during the Bon Scott years before AC/DC was a household name, so its missing 70s hits like Highway to Hell, Dirty Deeds, and somehow even TNT didn't make the cut. What is here, though, is fantastic. This is a young, hungry band determined to make a mark on the world, tearing, clawing and screaming their way through early classics like Problem Child, High Voltage and Whole Lotta Rosie with an energy that is palpable. One of the great live rock albums.

Not a big fan of live albums, but this one is just too good to pass up. The energy of this album is incredible. The band is a well oiled heavy metal machine at this point, and they have not even peaked yet!!! A milestone in the history of AC/DC that should not be missed!

I bought this on cassette the day before I left for Cub Scout camp in 1980. I was 9 years old. I had heard Back In Black on the school bus and knew I wanted to hear more. Fortunately for me that album was sold out, but they had this. One look at the cover and I knew I was really in for it. Nothing since has sounded quite like it. The first time I heard Bon sing was on this album. He’s still the best IMO. This is still the best version of “Let There Be Rock” ever recorded. Horns up!
