I found Bram Stoker's Dracula to be the best Dracula film I had thus seen (Dracula fan here). It was not just a blood-thirsty demon sucking the world dry but portrayed a love-lorn man cursed because of that love. His love and being deprived of that love drove him into an abyss of darkness. When he was killed at the end in the arms of his love and his darkness turned to light and his love was released. The soundtrack was lush and sinfully delightful. It could not have been done better. Coupled with the costumes there is no better production out there. The Dracula with Frank Langella was nice but Bram Stoker's Dracula raised the whole pageant to a whole other level of richness. The sheer sensuality and darkness of the soundtrack certainly amped the film.

Mina's theme (trck #3) is for me one of the most beautiful and haunting themes ever written. The film itself was not worthy of such beauty.
