Robert Harvey of The Music is one of the most profoundly gifted and creative musicians I've ever heard. The work he did with The Music is nothing less than epic. I had the deepest privilege of seeing him perform with The Music many years ago when they came to Houston TX. It was undoubtably one of the best live shows I've ever seen. Sadly this Dot side project does not come close to what he is capable of. I don't pretend to know him but I will honestly say, I felt he bore his heart and soul with The Music and this album lacks any of that mettle or deep truth. I have felt such an array of emotions listening to what he can do and this album just doesn't offer that. I miss the energy, the soul and depth of spirit Rob is so gifted with. The Music was his home without a doubt. I cannot say enough great things about him and what his band created.
