Once again, the xx proved their musical wealth on this intimate, minimalistic effort. The xx, now a trio, didn’t lose anything that makes their interest on this album. Jamie xx knows how to create atmospheres and Romy and Oliver’s soulful vocals fit his instrumentations perfectly. Another great effort that makes me want more from them! Can’t wait for the next album!

I was not a huge fan of the first album. This is like 80’s goth revival for me. I’m so obsessed with this sound. I like the intricate differences in all their songs. They are magical. I love this album…listen to it day and night. Makes me feel like I’m lucid dreaming. Surreal sound. I’m so in love. Easily my new favorite band.
