This album is one of those that sounds better each time you listen. These guys play with a ferocious fluidity that belies the complexity of the arrangements. In an age where the majority of music seems to be getting more and more simple, simple-minded, and derivative, it's a locomotive breath of fresh air.

Please buy this album! I've only become a cheese fan within the last year and this was my first taste of them. It's an absolutely amazing live album, with some awesome long jams. The people who have given this a bad review are just clueless. Don't listen to them, but listen to me and please but this album! You will not be disappointed in any way whatsoever! It is brilliant.

another great live album by SCI, this might not be quite as good as Carnival '99, but the difference is arguable. Their is some really nice examples of Cheese's instrumental prowess here; kyle hollingsworth almost steals the show for me at times and is a welcome addition, as he did not play on BOTRP. dudley's kitchen and mountian girls are some of my favorite bluegrass songs ever. rhythm of the road rocks, and land's end gets a sick extended jam that hardly feels like 12 minutes; it speeds up and slows down with perfect fluidity and conatins inventive group playing. this whole album is perfect, and live Cheese is just really hard to beat; i only prefer The Dead and Phish over this band.

This is one of the great live releases in the Jam Band scene. I'd put it right up there with Phish's; A Live One, Panics; Light Fuse Get Away, and Moe's; L when it comes to influencing the scene and bringing it to the public. A great example of late 90's Cheese and what it is that makes them so great. A true classic!

I am also a huge Phish fan, and have just started to delve into The String Cheese Incident. This is much like Phish and some Genesis with Phil Collins. Although I wouldn't catogorize this as rock, I would definitely have to say that this is an excellent cd. I would recommend Porcupine Tree and Genesis to anyone who likes this.
