I am a fan of Murs and Fashawn, I have a lot of albums by both artist. so, the album has lyrics for days (any listener will immediately recognize how nice both MC's are). My issue was the production. at best the beats were O.K., nothing that really stoodout to me. i was truly surprised by this because both artist have worked with tremendous producers on past albums (9th wonder, exile, evidence, and alchemist to name a few)...in short, get the album, a lot of nice quotables.

I've been a big murs/Living Legends fan for well over a decade and to this day he's never put out a product that wasn't top quality. Up until now I've heard very little from Fashawn but because of this album I bought his other two albums, which are both great by the way. I love the beats and production on this album with the expection of a couple tracks that I'd consider mediocore. I liked all the Felt albums with Murs and Slug but it was obvious their second album was muliple levels above their initial release after more time in the studio together. Considering these two never work with each let alone knew each other prior to this EP and still put out such a solid album is nothing short of amazing. A lot of people may disagree but I thought the Kanye and Jay Z album was a complete disaster, mixing two talented artists doesn't always equal a quality product but these two pulled it off. I think its pretty fair to say anybody who loves hip hop will enjoy this album. Even the poeple who usually only listen to that mainstream cookie cutter artists would even like it. The production is 2nd to none. Gotta support these indie rappers. Their the only real rap we have left if you don't want to hear someone rap about how hard they are, Benz and Beamers, gold chains, b!tches, or potraying something their not.
