This is one of my favorite John Doe songs. I was excited to hear that Eddie & Natalie had covered it. But, I still prefer the original. peace
Eddie good, Natalie...not so much

Their voices just don't mesh. The song would be better with a stronger female voice. Ed sounds great always, but if you're expecting something Pearl Jam-esque, look elsewhere. I love anything Eddie so it's still good in my eyes and ears.
please come back Natalie

I like this a lot, but it just makes me miss the Dixie Chicks!~ I am wondering will we ever hear the Dixie Chicks put out new music? Pleas come back Natalie, country music needs the Dixie Chicks..All your fans want you back!

Long, long time PJ/Eddie Vedder fan. Nice song for a good cause but for my money I prefer the John Doe/Kathleen Edwards version.
Really?

This song has been available for a few years. Ed did a version by himself and then with a gal from Sleater Kinney. Such incredible lyrics. I believe this is a John Doe song. This is the type of song I can literally listen to all the time. Why do certain songs do this to a person?
