It's so refreshing to hear bands from smaller markets that are pushing the envelope. The Chilean scene seems to be producing some very interesting bands, Astro and We are the Grand ante some of my favorites.

I discovered these guys through FIFA 13 and they are great. I like their music and one of the songs that is played on there is Panda often. I Also think y'all should check out the Royal concept.

Oddly enough, I discovered Astro after hearing one of their songs in a Bloomingdales commecial (I know, I know….)
Anyhow, if you like acts like MGMT or Yeasayer, give these crazy Chilean kids a try. My fave songs are "Coco", "Panda" and "Ciervos."

I really liked the video from this band where theyre on a crazy island running around with animals, so I decided to check out the rest of the album and I love it. Super funky, kinda retro but also experimental. Weird but no too weird. I heard one of the songs is going to be in the new FIFA 13 videe game, so I'll probably get sick of that song eventually but that's my own fault haha. What up with all this great music coming from Chile. Something in the agua, I guess.
