Awake - EP

Chase has a overwhelmingly calm voice and is a talented guitarist, this is a wonderful EP I would strongly suggest it to any one.

I looked up "Deathbeds" for Bring me The Horizon's, I only clicked on Chase Coy because theirs not many people with that name that are famous so I gave him a shot. Deathbeds was bad, December was bad, Indiana Sun was bad. You tell me these lyrics to Bring me The Horizon - Deathbed isn't bad "Eyes like a carcrash... I know I shouldn't look but I can't turn away... Body like a whiplash... I try to salt my wound but I can't Heal the way...i feel about you... That little Kiss you stole, it held my heart&soul, and like a ghost in the silence I diss-appere, don't try to fight the storm..you'll tumble overboard... Tides will bring me back to you..."

It saddens me that he used auto tuning for his perfect voice.....

It doesn't bother me that Chase doesn't change his sound much album to album. In fact, I'm glad that he doesn't. I don't know of any other artists who sound justt like him, so I'm glad he's continuing to make the type of sound that I can love, relate to, and relax to.

Chase Coy is an amazing singer! I love his music!

There's nothing at all wrong with any of these songs in my book, but it absolutely kills me that Chase Coy does not develop his sound whatsoever at any point. Every single song he ever releases sounds like every other song he ever releases. Every song on this EP could have been included on any of his previous albums or EPs. There's a very big difference between having a style and being repetitive and not a single song on this EP jumps out at me whatsoever because I've heard them all before on previous releases. It's time to change it up a bit; it's important to stay true to yourself as an artist but it's also important to grow and learn and develop and change, and Chase Coy never does that.

I've been a fan of Chase for a while now. I'm so glad I discovered him! He is so amazing. He writes beautiful songs, and his voice is so nice to listen to. Keep it up, Chase! (Like if you agree)
