I put this album on par with my favorite Zeppelin, Stones, Dylan, and any other significant album worth mentioning. The group that Slim has put together is one of the best in the last 40 years. Seriously, it's a masterpiece in songwriting and melody that will stand the test of time. The lyrics are timeless. Period.

Saw these guys play at a show in NC last night...tagged along with a friend. I have to they were incredible live. They play all of their songs with so much emotion. When Langhorne plays his acoustic sets there is nothing better. Check these guys out if they are ever near you!

I went to see him in concert this week, and all I can say is wow. I've become increasingly obsessed with his music, thanks in no small part to this album. Give him a go. You won't be disappointed.
