Simply a Masterpiece

In today's attention-deficit internet culture, it's hard to find an album that can cause such an emotional impact as Voyage. I've had this album in my car on repeat for almost a year straight, and it doesn't get old. The melodies and synths are well-crafted and the overall atmosphere of the music is inescapable. Though their influences are obvious (Pet Shop Boys, Enya, Vangelis), the Sound of Arrows have managed to create a very unique brand of electro-pop music. To Oskar and Stefan: if you ever happen upon this note, know that we are in awe of your music; deeply appreciative of your attention to every beautiful detail.

Finally Great Modern Synth Pop!!

This is one of the best pop Synth Pop Bands out there. They sound fresh and relevant to today! I've tried to listen to a lot of the newer Synth Pop acts--but I basically had to go back to the sounds of the 80s to get my fix. Thanks to The Sound of Arrows...they have taken that cool Synth Pop sound of yesteryear and made it modern, melodically tantalizing and danceable!
Love it!

This album is so amazing. It's so different from the awful mainstream stuff that plays on the radio. It's a gem for sure, and I just can't stop listening to it! The theme feels retro but fresh~ and this is coming from a 17 year old. Going against the teenage stereotype of today, I'm always looking for new sounds and takes on genres; this album is a winner. Favorite track is Nova.
Lindos!

I have waited for this album for years. I watched labels implode around the Sound of Arrows, watched singles get botched releases, watched new material trickle out until finally in 2011, there was actual movement. The video releases were nothing short of extraordinary, even the re-re-re-release of "M.A.G.I.C." accompanied with its indescribable video. Upon hearing the album was really coming - really truly, within this calendar year, I slavishly devoted myself to following TSoA's every move on Twitter and Facebook.
And then, finally, it was here.
"Into the Clouds" was one of the first pop songs I ever heard that made me realize the actual potential of the genre, bringing me wholeheartedly into that world (synth pop, swedish pop, "widescreen pop", etc). "There Is Still Hope" might as well be the last song I ever listen to. Everything always comes full circle eventually, and I could happily end my music obsession right now, just with this album.
Flawless. Danceable. Emotional. Deep. Album of the year, and then some.
Not Disappointed

I have been waiting for this release for what seemed like forever. I LOVE it! It's original and wonderful. To be compared to the Pet Shop Boys in any review is quite an honor as PSB are probably one of the best and most consistent pop groups of all time! You'll love this record!
Good music, but reminds me of the early 90's

The music is good, but reminds me of the Pet Shop Boys and Alison Moyet music from the early 90's. Good price, but would have been nice if the Tiesto Remixes of Nova would have been included.
