I actually saw Zach and the Bright Lights live before I heard this album. I was afraid that the energy and the sheer love (for music and for life) that was so evident in their live performance wouldn't translate to a recorded version. I should have oughta known better. Luminosity is just that. It's a light focused directly upon the listener that forces you to re-evaluate what you know about music. A lot of what is considered popular music has an ingrained skepticism. Not so with this album. It is positively infectious and infectiously positive. I dare you to listen to it and not come away with a smile.

Zach's sings his music with great passion and you can feel his happiness through the lyrics and pep of his voice. To see him live is a treat!! Such a beaufitul positive energy! A few of my favorites are Great Beautifier and Surround Me. Whether you want to chill or be enlivened with positive warm vibes his songs are sure to please! :)
