as notes are pouring out of the fingers of two amazing players, it feels like a room full of dominoes are falling to create amazing musical patterns for my ears to see. what a fresh and roomy sound this album has—with microphone hiss and all.

I had no idea Ray Charles could swing and compliment Milt Jackson, a master vibraphonist . All jazz aficionados must have this album in their repertoire.

Ray Charles and Milt Jackson combine to make a memorable jazz album. Jackson plays vibes and Charles pours his heart out into the piano and also has a rare saxophone solo in "How Long Blues". This album is great for jazz enthusiast as well as the casual listener. Highly recommended!
