A girl named jaen, I believe it to be a well rounded spec of harmonic tunes, I enjoyed this album so much I especially like "Girls on Film" and "Push Through" two different tempo beats, Way to go jaen!

dont let the pretty face and soft vocal tones of jaen fool ya, there are some rockin tunes here from 'role model' to 'bad timing'. tho she shows a softer acoustic side on 'closure'. check out the layered lyrical writing here, esp on 'fame costs'!

a girl named jaen's music is amazing!
Her lyrics are smart and thought provoking. Her songs resinate on so many different levels. "Girls on Film" is a great cover with its upbeat and a fresh sound. "Role Model" is such a powerful song for today's kids and their parents! It ROCKS! "I Admit It" is just about living life to its fullest potential-Just Live : ) The title song "Gloss" is just plain Awesome and I am already singing it aloud.
I love this whole album. Keep writing jaen. I want more, more, & more of your authentic lyrics.
