I rarely give out 5 star reviews, especially for music, because my standards are high. But every song on this album is great. Even Preta, which seems a sharp departure from the rest of the tracks, salvages itself a little way into the song. Mercury's voice has a slightly husky quality at times, which is appealing, and I think she sounds particularly good in the lower registers. I don't speak Portuguese, but that has no effect on my enjoyment of these songs, and there are a couple of songs which include English lyrics. Now I want to download a Portuguese/English dictionary app. The earlier tracks on the album are particularly upbeat, and I made the mistake of listening to this while attempting to shower. I couldn't stop dancing, and I'm lucky I didn't slip & break my neck. I definitely recommend this album!
