I dig for underground albums. This resurrects a mold that hasn't been seen, nor heard in almost 20 years. Why Cube, Snoop, Ice-t, Too $hort, and a handful of others abandoned what made them pioneers, I have no idea. But Thurz has brought back a sound and ideal and I never thought I would hear again. This kid is gonna be on the same list as those I named previously if he continues making albums like this.

This is probably the ALBUM OF THE YEAR. I'm a hip hop head who loves the pure essence of the music and stories. Thurz has made songs. When I say songs... CONCEPTS, THEME, LYRICS, BEATS, and a SOUL to his music. It's sad to hear about the UNI breakup. I saw them at SXSW in 2009+2010, but this offering makes up for everything. He sounds great.
