Im torn on this group. I like the music, its catchy, energetic and fun. But it doesnt have staying power and I know Im gonna get tired of it real fast. I hate to spend the money on it and after about 5 or 6 listens Im sick of it. The group is what it is and if you like this style of music then you will enjoy this CD. If your not a big fan then dowload a couple of songs (I recommend "Devil Music and Get Fresh With You) and make a mix cd.

1st heard them on CSI Miami episode 288 & you can't help but move.. great..wish they had more publicity..not really alternative as we have come to define..More Reggae with R & B/dance feel.. gets the Bootie moving for sure..

I heard about this on NPR (are all Teddybears fans nerds?) and downloaded immediately. My 15 year old daughter is hooked also and plays it constantly. Is there anything else like this out there?

The Teddybears have done it again; assembled a collection of imminently catchy tunes that should garner even more fans on both sides of the Atlantic. While "Soft Machine" may have boasted more guest appearances by singers such as Iggy Pop, Nenah Cherry and Ebbot Lundberg (Soundtrack of Our Lives), Devil's Music is not too shabby, either- with Cee-Lo Green and B52's on one track, the Flaming Lips on another. There's an undercurrent of subversive humor throughout so even if the samplings and grooves are slightly off-kilter, the lyrics are often hysterically funny. This is the kind of album you should play LOUDLY at your next yard party: people will ask "who are they?!"
