Dice Raw, who for years has been part of the legendary Roots crew, comes out with the first part of a planned trilogy, Preservation, and it was a job well done. Dice Raw is one of the best hook writers in rap music, period. On Preservation, the production is nice and Dice has some thoughtful lyrics to go along with it. Dice Raw is for people who love hip hop music. Dice is for people who love hip hop the way it used to be, but still makes it sound fresh. Baby Come Home, 1995, and Time Flies are my favorites. So if you are from Philly, buy this. If you love hip hop, buy this. Dice, keep the hardcore, good music coming. Long live hip hop!

Wow. Been a fan of Dice since the first time I heard "The Lesson, Pt.1" back in 94' and he still brings it. Especially today with all wack music out there, it's good to see artists that still care.
