This album is unbelievable. It is crazy that they got this energy and vibe in a studio, it feels live. Forgiveness is my favorite cut, it is consistently moving.

Literally my favorite album of all time.
Sean Jones is a masterful trumpet player with a tone of pure gold; he plays every note with unyielding conviction, and you will never hear a more beautiful tone. He effortlessly demonstrates perfect control over the instrument in all registers and both his virtuosity and musicality are unmatched.
Sean's compositional style is simply genius. Never have I heard a writer so effectively convey such a wide range of emotions. For all its complexity, the music is strikingly accessible. In my opinion, Sean Jones is without question the greatest trumpet player out there today.

I saw Sean Jones play live at Jazz at the Bistro in St. Louis tonight - May 28, 2011. He is an awesome musician. "No Need For Words" is a great song.
