Having listened to timeless classics from this band for many years...this album is no different. Once you are down to Rosemary and Timeline, you will hear that this is truly in Yellowjackets form. One of the great Contemporary jazz bands of all time.

I've been listening to the Yellowjackets for years and this has got to be one of their finest. Whether you're sitting out on your patio on a sunny afternoon with a cold one, or in your easy chair enjoying your favorite book this music will just want to make you let out an Oh Yeah. These guys are just awesome.
  • Overdue.

Will Kennedy is BACK!!... that's all that matters. Hence that "sound" which made them Grammy famous.

I have grown up listening to these guys and have seen them live many times. They are great musicians and great guys! This album is another great one and I highly recommend any and all their music!

Will Kennedy's back in the drummer's chair and you can tell. Sounds like the Yellowjackets are back from their earlier years. Again, Marcus Baylor did a wonderful job bringing a new sound to the group in Will's absence......but THE sound is back.
  • another brilliant offering from the jackets!

had the pleasure of seeing these guys live at scullers in boston last spring, they said they were working on an album. with timeline they have delivered. tight group from russ on keyboards, jimmy on bass, bob on saxophones and william on drums. keep recording! peace. ps itunes what would be unclean about an album with no vocals (raunchy saxophone, i suppose?)
  • Strangely ADDICTING!!!

Closing in on three decades, the Yellowjackets continue to make some of the finest contemporary jazz ever created. Their hallmark of unexpected harmonies, chord progressions, key changes and rhythms never get old or tired. Their "melodies" and hooks are always inviting, accessible, original and fresh. This album displays all these qualities that only the Yellowjackets can continue to deliver, year after year after year. If you love great jazz and are ever stuck on a desert island, just take along a CD like this and you'll be a peace forever.
