Ya , it does take talent to cover a legend , but if you have never seen a Brandon Rhyder show you are missing out on a very talented hard working musicians musician. I work with a lot of Tx Music artist but Brandon stopped me in my tracks the first time I heard him, it's refreshing and out of the box to hear talent like his.Covering a legend like Don Williams takes talent . I think he nailed it!!!

I actually was worried when I heard Brandon remade this song, but I have to admit I love his version. There are people complaining on here about covering a song like this from a legend, but I bet they are the same people who go to bed every night listening to Lady Antebellum and Rascal Flatts. Mr. Rhyder sings it from deep down inside his soul and that makes it a great addition to his concert library. People who love Nashville music need to stay in Tennessee and quit griping about musicians who have some actual talent, they are not studio recording room singers who, when they do sing live, people say geez this doesn't even sound like.....(John Michael Montgomery, Kenny Chesney, Montgomery Gentry, Shania Who...etc...) Check out Brian Keane - I'll sing about mine, and what I have said will really hit home.

One of my all time favorite songs has been hacked apart. Pinned to the outhouse wall and riddled with buckshot. Certain songs should never be remade especially those recorded by legends. Clearly the smith music group is recording from the local bowling alley's karaoke night.
