I just saw these guys last night, they sang three of there new songs. They were fantastic, even though I was born when they started. They put on a great hour and a half show. July 23rd, 2010!

This is a really good album. It's a concept album and you can read what it's about on their website. My least favorite songs are probably "Alternate Ending," and "I Won't Let It Get in the Way." I LOVE "Setting the Scene," Dance With Me," "Can I Be Your Lover," and "Hold On." I love this band and have seen them twice in concert. They put on such a good show and I can't wait for them to come by again!

I'm not sure what CD "Disappointing" is listening to... I agree there are a couple of songs on this cd they could have left off, but this is an outstanding effort. For a duo that has been together for 35 years and supposedly hit it's peak in the 1980's, Mumbo Jumbo is incredibly fresh. There are not many bands together 35 years and still doing new music this good. Mumbo Jumbo is a testiment to Graham's talent as a songwriter, Russell's vocals, their vision and their lasting egoless-friendship.

I really enjoyed the CD... different from the expected which made it refreshing. I liked "Mumbo Jumbo" probably the best! "Why" was a great song too...listen to the words- the story is great. "Faith in Love" has been a fav. for a long time... see them in concert; they have an amazing talent to bring EVERY song to life.

Finally after 7 years from Air Supplys cd "Across the Concrete Sky" which also told a story as well as Grahams "Future" CD. this CD Mumbo Jumbo also tells a story. It is from the mind and heart of Graham Russell who uses every bit of heart, soul, mind and fever for love that fills him. One must really dig deep into your won heart to fully understand the power of his mind when he writes lyrics. Graham Russell is truly the best. The orchestra in the song "Can I be your lover" is simply beautiful, the songs is one of those truly "deep" songs that whispers true love between two people as one person asks permission to the other "Can I be? Will you lay your head right Next to me"? The song is so powerful and is one of my favorites on the CD. "Faith In Love" ROCKS and the songs really gets your body rocking. "Dance with me" the newly released track of the CD is on the AC charts now and it is a pleasure feel good song. I feel as though "Dance with me" truly delivers! The guitar and drums sound fabulous and the song ROCKS! Another song that really brings out the deep beauty of music is the song "Until". "Why" is a song written for a wedding for two people Graham new back in early 2000's, The original was recorded with the Celtic Tenors and the harmony within this song was truly amazing with the Tenors. With Graham and Russell Hitchcock singing "Why" does bring back the 80's magic with a perfect harmony between this duo that has earned them the right to be called the masters of ballads. This CD "MUMBO JUMBO" delievers on all fronts of the word love. It is powerful, imaginative and ground breaking. Most artists dig through 1000's of songs looking for track add ons or do not write anything...they just get behind a mic and sing. AIR SUPPLY does not do that here and it shows. Air Supply writes there own music and lyrics and places strings perfectly where they need to be. With Graham Russell writing and Russell Hitchcock Singing the two together bring melody and magic to music! I just wish Air Supply would record more CDS! Well done Gentlemen of Air Supply! I am glad to see you back on the charts...we've missed you!

A long awaited CD. Russell sounds just as good as he did in the 80's and still gives me chills with his voice. Graham also sounds great and he really out did himself with the arrangements. If you have not picked up an Air Supply CD in awhile, now is the time!

This is a New Air Supply for the masses! These guys are ( AND have been for some time now) doing what THEY want to do on their own terms. And IT IS WONDERFUL!!! Short and to the point; that's my opinion and this is the best I've heard...the fact that it is a concept album and there is a story being told here really pulls you in. And if you've lived long enough, & experienced "life" and all it's relationship pitfalls/ high-points....AND really listen to the lyrics....you'll find this a truly enjoyable CD. Nothing sappy here...it's real and from the heart. Despite what some have said about Russell Hitchcock's vocals; he's stronger than ever !!! Enough said! Thank you !!

Some songs I am not overally impressed with, but enjoy the majority of the album. Grahams voice is still super good and he still sounds the same to me, while Russell on the other hand, well his voice hasn't been the same since mid 90s. Songs "why" and "until" sound like they were pulled from the old archives. Some songs are too long and repetative. Overall I'm happy with it and suggest it. Can't get LoveSex out of my head haha
