This Is the Day

I especially love this album because it speaks to the heart! and Walt Whithman & Soul Children just make things happened back in the days of these songs, it all good

I am an alumni of the Soul Children of Chicago prior to the recordings as well as some of the earlier recordings. I was quite surprised to stumble upon them on Itunes, and so glad I did. I love to listen and sing along to most of the songs. A lot of the songs bring back such great memories of my time with the Soul Children, which I belive the lessons learned in the choir fostered my overall balance and success in my life. The songs are well chosen and very inspirational. The children really encourage me and inspire me to continue on the right path. I am so glad to have the full collection and believe the live recordings will give the sense of the true talent untouched by modern technolgoy. If you like to hear music in its natural state with limited technology interferece this is a gospel to obtain and keep.

I get chills listening to them. I want to support everything they do. They look so happy singing. All youth should have a ministry and choir. This is wonderful thing. I praise you Walt. We need to remember children......... are our FUTURE. Thank you Itunes.

I acctually preformed with Walt Whittman and The Soul Children Of Chicago.I'm in a native singing group The Youth Coral Theatere Of Chicago.We preformed with each other and I found them simply amazing!Go to a concert!There's alott of fun music and dancing! You'll love the music and they really have got the beat!
