I love the new style of hip hop that Ol Dominion represents. The group is filled with rediculous musical and artistic talent. Vessel has brought a new sound to hip hop that is simply amazing. This album is going to be on rotation in my car for awhile, I love it. Thank you.

Onry on vocals (as Cape Cowan) & Zavala on beats melt genres with this release. Previously introducing us to their sound with "Believeyoume", "Vessel" picks up as a full-length, heavy layered, sound dripping head cracker. Onry is always adapting as an emcee (whether it's in Grayskul or as a solo artist) and the beats Chicago's Zavala bring to the table allow Onry to shine in a whole new light. This album is nothing short of a future classic. With memorable spots from Aesop Rock, Qwel, P.O.S, Ceschi, JFK and an array of vocalists, "Vessel" will sound good from Spring into Summer and last until Fall and Winter.

Vessel possesses a raw beauty that is rarely found in any genre of music, let alone hip-hop. Each journey through the album takes you to another realm, and back again. Energized for the next trip. Waiting... watching... listening... This is Why I Fly.

Onry Ozzborn is always producing a sound thats fresh. Its nice to know that there are still some creative mc's out there that dont get caught up in making predictable music. I am always excited to hear what he's created, because I never know where he's going to go with his music. I recommend this cd to anyone who is into the progression of not only hip-hop but music in general. Continue supporting innovative music and the hardworking musicians who put forth the effort to develop fresh sounds and concepts!

the previews don't do these justice, they change up a lot, really good futuristic rap but not that overly socially conscious stuff that is annoying and preachy.

I have never heard of this group before but after sampling a handful of their songs they take a very different approach to the Hip-Hop/Rap game, and I got to say its very well done. I went to their website and dl'ed their free mixtape and am very happy with what I am hearing, buy this if you are looking for a new sound.
