  • Good old cowboy tunes - doesn't get much better than this

I don't listen to current country music (except George Strait because everyone should listen to King George). I do listen to good country music, and this is a wonderful example of some of the best old cowboy tunes. Don Edwards is an American treasure. I cannot overstate how wonderful his voice is, and his choice to sing the real old cowboy songs has earned him a very special place in my heart. Waddie Mitchell is a real life cowboy with a funny perspective and a true love of the western way of life. Both men are a slice of Americana now all but gone. This album is one I listen to often. I don't think I'll ever tire of it.
