First off I hate Partial albums has to be said. Secondly, this album is dope as hell love the militant style beats and lyrics. I was a big pastor troy Universal soldier album fan! Which means I would probably like the G.I. Troy album right? Nope, Every song is kind of the same unlike this album lots of insight not just yelling all over the track like PT, after purchasing this album it is making me reconsider getting welcome to bucktown by my original thinking is that that album has no life lots of stale beats but maybe steele's lyrics may make it worth it!

Just okay: Highlight Track 3 though, Cry Freedom, but only because of Dead Prez. By the way, Cry Freedom's original sample is "Ecstasy of Gold" by Ennio Morricone.
  • Good but too short

I wish this album was longer, it is dope. From the beginning to the end, the General lyrics are tight. The beats are nice and it's good to hear from local underground acts instead of the usual suspects (see T-Pain or Lil Wayne). Favorite song is (of course) Cry Freedom.
