This of course is another great song by Roger Taylor. The tone of the song actually reminds me of John Lennon....
But it's really too bad that Itunes, et. al. couldn't release more of Roger Taylor's solo stuff as well as the stuff he did with The Cross because I personally think it's just as good as his stuff with Queen if not better.
Great song!

Roger is mostly known for his percussion ability but this track proves he still has that amazing voice from years ago. Impressive that he played all the instuments on this as well. Roger has definately aged like a fine wine. Must have track for die hard Queen fans.
Moody, reflective & unconventional!

I can't agree with all statements but I respect his point if view. Great arrangement and playing. Very mature and a FAR cry from some of his immature past. PS) His electric fire lp from the late 90's is great also.
A classic in the making

An interesting capsule of how our world has changed in the last 10 years or so. Everytime I listen to it, I wish it was still going - one of the quickest six minute songs I can think of. Very well done!

The best thing about Roger's solo albums, is that he has played almost all the instruments in the recording. He has done at least 5 solo, 3 with his band The Cross, and then all the Queen albums. Usually on those he would do at least one song on his own, vocals guitar etc, and so would Brian May. That is what made the albums interesting as a fan, novel as an approach on intellect and talent. My personal favorite is Tenement Funster. I just can't understand why radio stations have missed this in the Rock brands playing deep cuts format.
I love this song, as the man steps up on his vocal ability, delivers the obvious poignant testament to our state of being. We have become soupheads believing only what the tv sets tell us is the truth, and not what we see for ourselves, in each other. I am amazed at the guitar riffs he plays... in love with the percussion arrangement... but the tonality and honesty in his voice has always been his selling point. Rod Stewart only wished he could sing like Roger...
Also Note *.* If you are really into laid back blues, I really suggest the John Deacon- Another Time, Another Place album.
Reflective & somber

This is a very reflective song. It's good to hear Roger back. It actually has a kicking rock section in the beggining. It's deffinetly worth the purchase.

Another great song from Roger Taylor, drummer for Queen. Not many folks know Roger has had a solo career. Roger is a great vocalist and musician and this is a really good song. Can we get more, iTunes???
