This new record by Tom Hall is really impressive. As I was reading the notes inside the CD, it mentions that this is the first time all three of these guys had gotten together and improvised! I couldn't believe it! They sound like they have been at this for a long time as a group. I really liked the fact that the whole album works together. It's not just a lot of wankin'... It's very musical and fun. All three players are amazing musician's and their musical choices here, make me ask... When is Session IV coming out?! Highly recommend Session III.
