One of her best

This album was a product of the soundtrack recording she did for the Danish film "Oldboys" and it shows more maturity than some of her earlier stuff which is less melodic and more Europop. The first few tracks are very enjoyable and the lyrics stick in your head more than most of her other songs (which is a good thing). The last four are still good, but drag a bit, possibly because they are tied into the plot of the movie somehow, though it's hard to say as I haven't seen it yet.
In any case, I'd recommend this to anyone who likes music that lets you slow down and breathe a bit. This and the "Trilogy" ("A beginning, A Detour...") are must haves.
Just ok!

I'm a huge Tina Dico fan, but being honest! this is her weakest offering to date.
Disappointing...yet somehow brilliant!

There are a few excellent cuts here, particularly the brooding, stark "Swedish Skies." But in "The Road to Gävle," Tina Dico wraps the final third of the album around her revised version of "All I See." And the revision is not an improvement over the original. The tracks that follow echo its melody. Nonetheless, Ms. Dico demonstrates her considerable range in the album's first half. Her voice, as always, engages the listener, and she's literally bursting with song!
Incredible

Gorgeous, moving music, with a larger variety of sound and instrumentation than used in Dico's other albums. This album really shows Dico's versatility. There's something for everyone on this record, and River of What's Been is absolutely beautiful... definitely my favorite.
wow..what a beautiful new discovery for me

I was almost moved to tears just in the 30 seconds of each song. Not because I am such a huge fan, although I am, but because I am so blown away by the diversity of this album compared to her others and the diversity of each song. She is brilliant and I am thankful for her creative genius in world of bland, predictable, tone deaf, and heartless artists, if it's even fair to call them that. I believe in Tina's work and will support it for the rest of her career and cherish it for the rest of my life.
Tina Dico has SUCH an amazing voice!

She brings tears to my eyes... her voice is so rich and emotional. I have all of her music and this is certainly no disappointment. Buy the whole thing for sure!
